Gulf Food Exhibition

Post Image

For those who attended this years Gulf Food Exhibition will be left with an overwhelming mixture of feelings. Excitement being one at seeing so many amazing exhibition booths demonstrating a companies portfolio of products. For some maybe a little anxiety as you were sometimes almost crushed by the huge crowds attending. For many it was delight as the tested and tasted many of the exhibitor products, from beverages, Ice cream, Bread, cakes, tea and so much more. Many of us were also tantalised by the global presence. You could travel the world of Food within the confines of the many exhibition halls. So many happy faces around the exhibition warmed your heart. However coming and leaving the exhibition was a real test of stamina, after a long day at the exhibition, your feet aching you just want to get back to your hotel to shower and rest. But in front of you was the challenge to leave the Exhibition site, traffic was almost at a standstill, just so many cars. How the local police managed to control and keep traffic order is a testament to great organisation but it must have been stressful. The Metro was a physical challenge and for some people maybe a little scary as they pushed as many people as possible into trains. A bit uncomfortable for many but once you were back you could reflect of this amazingly successful event. It is clear why in 2026 the event will be split over two sites with I suspect the majority being at the Expo City Dubai as this event has just out grown the DWT centre site.

I for one in 2026 will be attending the next Gulf Food Exhibition but we will all need to make a clear visit plan, as I am sure the new location will just allow the event to grow even larger,
